BOWMAN BOUND ARTISTS

  • Dr. John

    MAIN STAGE: 10:30-11:30PM

The legendary Dr. John is a six-time Grammy Award-winning musician and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. The embodiment of New Orleans’ musical legacy, his colorful musical career began in the 1950s with some of the greatest records to come out of the city.

    Phillip Phillips

    MAIN STAGE: 9-10PM

Phillip Phillips is an American singer, songwriter and musician who won the eleventh season of American Idol. His coronation song, 'Home,' released after his win, became the best selling of all coronation songs.

    Uncle Kracker

    MAIN STAGE: 7:30-8:30PM

Before Uncle Kracker flew up the charts to #1 with “When the Sun Goes Down,” a duet with good friend Kenny Chesney, country music might’ve seemed an odd place to find the Detroit-based good-time Kid Rock alumni. But after a few summer tours with Chesney, the Top 10 “Smile,” and a pure country album produced by Keith Stegall, nobody doubts this feel-good rocker is exactly where he should be

  • Edwin McCain

    TAILGATE STAGE: 5:45-6:45PM

Called the “great American romantic” by the New York Times, Edwin McCain has built an enviable career over the past 20 years by balancing his massive pop success with the year-round touring schedule of a tireless troubadour. His hit songs, authentic spirit and surprisingly affable sense of humor keep fans coming back time and time again for nights that feel more like parties with old friends than rock concerts.

    Villanova

    TAILGATE STAGE: 4:20-5:20PM

Villa*Nova turns rock 'n' roll upside down. Hailing from Columbia, SC, the band distills elements of funky pop and rock into a hypnotic hybrid. Villa*Nova prides itself on making music with solid grooves and soulful, dynamic lyrics provided by lead vocalist/guitarist/song writer BC Villa*Nova.

    Trae Pierce & the T-Stones

    TAILGATE STAGE: 3pm-4PM

Grammy Award-winning bassist Trae Pierce is leading a wild new musical experience known as Trae Pierce & the T-Stones (TPTS). Defined by hard-edged funk and hip-hop mixed with rock and blues, TPTS has developed a high-energy live show with a modern feel that also recalls the unstoppable grooves of Bootsy Collins: they “wants to funk you up!”

  • Corey Smith

    YONDERWOOD
    CAMPGROUND STAGE:
    12:30am - 2AM

The way Corey Smith sees it, he owes a debt to his fans. And it's one he is determined to repay with his 10th album, While the Gettin' Is Good.

Before Uncle Kracker flew up the charts to #1 with “When the Sun Goes Down,” a duet with good friend Kenny Chesney, country music might’ve seemed an odd place to find the Detroit-based good-time Kid Rock alumni. But after a few summer tours with Chesney, the Top 10 “Smile,” and a pure country album produced by Keith Stegall, nobody doubts this feel-good rocker is exactly where he should be. Uncle Kracker’s deep melodies and sense of what the heartland means has made him a perfect fit in today’s post-rural realm of country music.

Initially known for his role as DJ in Kid Rock’s legendary Twisted Brown Trucker band, Uncle Kracker soon kicked off a stunning solo career of his own. The singer/songwriter made his solo debut with 2001’s #1 smash, “Follow Me,” kicking off a run of top 10  multi-format hits like “In A Little While,” “Smile,” and of course, 2003’s cover of Dobie Gray’s classic “Drift Away” which set a Billboard record for most weeks at #1 on any chart, topping their #1 run on the Adult Contemporary radio charts for a staggering 28 weeks.
